The census is personal. It’s our one opportunity every 10 years to capture who we are, where we live, and how we’re growing as a nation. Data from the census will shape the next 10 years of our lives.
Time is running out
Funding for the 2020 Census is going in the wrong direction. Counting over 300 million people is a tall order, even under the best conditions. If you and your neighbors aren’t counted, you don’t count.
For all to count,
all must be counted
The census paints a mosaic of our racial, ethnic, and geographic identities. Its data drive billions in state and federal funding—your schools, your roads, your hospitals. It helps determine your congressional voice.
This is why counting every person living in the United States is a constitutional mandate.
20/20 vision for the 2020 Census
Better vision starts by raising awareness, sharing information, and exchanging best practices to maximize local participation.
It ends with a better count.
